The Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School under Confucius Institute in Sofia Participated in the Educational Forum “I Choose to Study in Bulgaria”

On March 14, the Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School, affiliated with the Confucius Institute in Sofia, participated in the second edition of the educational forum “I Choose to Study in Bulgaria”, organized by the Burgas Municipality. The event was held at the Tria Space Central Park Conference Center in Burgas. Representatives from more than 16 universities and over 20 high schools from across the country attended, including institutions such as Sofia University, Varna University of Economics, and Burgas Free University. In total, nearly 500 people took part in the forum.

The Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School, affiliated with the Confucius Institute in Sofia, participated in the education exhibition on the first day of the forum. During the event, teachers introduced the development and distinctive educational programs of the Confucius Classroom. They also presented the achievements in Chinese language teaching, including the curriculum system, cultural activities, as well as students’ awards in various competitions.

The Confucius Classroom’s participation in the forum further enhanced public attention to Chinese language education in the local community. In the future, the Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School will continue to develop Chinese language education and promote Chinese culture, serving Sino-Bulgarian cultural exchange and carrying forward the traditional friendship between the two peoples.
