This summer, the Chinese camp has lasted for two weeks. The Chinese course has been comprised of a rich and vibrant content covering practical topics such as greetings, self-introduction, time expressions, family and career, shopping and ordering food, asking for directions and guidance, as well as learning and singing Chinese songs, experiencing a Chinese tea ceremony, and comprehending the Chinese zodiac culture and the traditional costumes, as well as understanding contemporary China. At the end of the course, the participants have demonstrated their learning achievements through presentations in various forms of their choice.

Established as the outcome from the mutual cooperation between the two parties – the Confucius Institute in Sofia and the Burgas branch of the University of Sofia, the third edition of the Chinese summer camp has demonstrated that the local people in Burgas and in the region, have interest and desire to learn the language and the culture of China.
