The Petar Bogdan Secondary School Of Foreign Languages - A Teaching Center Under the Confucius Institute In Sofia, Has Participated In the Annual School Awareness Day In Montana

On May 31st 2024, the Montana municipality in Bulgaria have held their annual school promotion day. The teaching center under the Confucius Institute in Sofia - The Peter Bogdan Secondary School Of Foreign languages has received an invitation to participate in it so as to promote the culture of the campus and provide students with course information and consultations etc. More than 1 000 people have attended the event, including educational officials from the Montana City Government, principals of the local schools, teachers, student representatives, and local people.
Mrs Maria Boncheva - the principal of the Petar Bogdan Secondary School of Foreign Languages, has participated in the event together with representatives of the school teachers and students from the school. The Chinese language programme has been the highlight of the promotion of the school. Several interactive sessions have been particularly set up for the Chinese language course, where a teacher from the Confucius Institue have taught students the greetings in Chinese and have written the Chinese names of the Chinese language enthusiasts. They have introduced the Chinese language and culture curriculum to the local students and their parents, and have advertised continuously before a steady stream of visitors.
The Petar Bogdan Secondary School of Foreign Languages, located in the city of Montana in northwestern Bulgaria, is a prestigious public school and the only language school in the city with a Chinese language programme. Since its introduction, the Chinese language programme has received an unwavering interest from the local students and parents.
