Online Lecture on Chinese Tea Culture

The upcoming lecture, which will take place on October 4, is dedicated to tea and Chinese tea culture. It will be presented online in Bulgarian language. The lecturer Boyka Mihaylova is a passionate lover of tea, whose first encounter with Chinese culture marked the beginning of a lifelong love. For the past 5 years, she has lived in southern China, traveled to famous tea regions across the country, met with local producers and craftsmen and studied different types of Chinese tea and their characteristics, their interweaving in local customs and their influence on the culture of different ethnic groups. Boyka is a member of the Tea Association in Shenzhen City. She has participated for two consecutive years in the Gong Fu international competition for tea ceremony, organized by the Shenzhen Tea Expo – the largest tea trade fair in the world – where she was the only representative outside Asia to reach the semifinals and finals. After successfully passing the state exam, Boyka graduated in China as a teacher of tea culture and ceremony.
