Confucius Classroom at No.101 Secondary School in Sofia under the Confucius Institute in Sofia Hosted a Chopsticks Experience Workshop

On April 27-30, Confucius Classroom at No.101 Secondary School in Sofia under the Confucius Institute in Sofia Hosted a Chopsticks Experience Workshop. More than 70 participants, including teachers from the Confucius Institute and 3rd- and 4th-grade students from the school, took part in the activity.

At the beginning of the event, the Confucius Institute teacher played a video demonstrating how to use chopsticks and guided the students in practicing by imitation. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students spread their fingers, tried to control the chopsticks in their hands, and practiced collaboratively with their group members. Many students initially found it difficult to use chopsticks, but through continuous practice they eventually managed to pick up beans successfully. To reinforce their learning, the teacher organized a bean-picking relay race, during which the students mastered chopstick skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Through learning in an enjoyable way, the students not only practiced patience and concentration, but also learned about Chinese eating habits and how to use chopsticks.
